I wanted to blog about this earlier but I couldn't find the time. So here goes... Yesterday, I was just on my way home from school, in the train and I kept smelling funny stuff. From Boon Lay to Jurong East and then it happened again toward Admiralty. So the normal thing to do when you smell something funky, is to blow hard right? I mean, to get rid of that smell in your nostrils. So I started blowing my nose and without realizing it, I blew onto this lady's arm who was holding onto the train poles. slaps forehead So i was apologetic but because I was so embarrassed at my uncivilized act. Then she spoke to me in Malay something along the lines of "It's okay". So I was thinking to myself, why is she speaking in Malay, and I just smiled politely and turned away. Then she started the conversation, asking if the train will stop at AMK. So I said yes. By then I was 2 stops away rom Admiralty. And then we started conversing and somehow we managed to talk about her work, where she is from, where my maternal grams is from and before I knew it... She asked to exchanged numbers so we could go out and have "teh" or tea together (since I don't drink, clearly). I was stumped but of course it's not polite to reject an offer so I said yes, and we exchanged numbers. And right before I got off the train, she told me to give her a miss call, and I did. And so a stranger I met in the train, 2 stops away has my number and invited me to have drinks. As i walked out the train, all I could think off was: WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? AND... ... WHY COULDN'T A GUY DO THAT WITH ME?!?!?!?! WHY? Life is hilarious. But this time, it's laughing AT me. And I am reluctant to laugh back. Although, yes, I get the joke. Signed to Fealess (think The Maine and Breathe carolina), they basically play around with the same genre of punk pop. The members are likeable especially the lead singer, but this band definately worth a listen. Just released a new video calleed We Love Like Vampires and their album title is Eyes To the Sun.I myself have yet to listen to the whole album. For now, Fave tracks: Autumn Asteria Asteria has a mix of sounds that pretty much anyone can love. Their self-titled EP is awesome. Fave Tracks: The Taste, The Touch and A Lesson In Charades Three-man band from Virginia and signed to an indie. they probably sound like... a generic pop/punk band (sorry, had to use the word) but there's some good quality in their songs as they are upbeat though it does take a few listen as songs like Apocalypse sounds amateurish.
